MHI-MME Exhibits at SMP World Expo 2014 Introducing Variety Marine Machineries and Engines to Indian Market

Tokyo, Japan, March 6th, 2014 - Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Marine Machinery & Engine Co., Ltd. (MHI-MME) exhibited at the Shipping, Marine & Ports (SMP) World Expo 2014 at Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre from February 10 through 12. MHI-MME introduced UE Engine, Steering Gears and other varieties of marine machineries with Project MEET* at its booth.

The SMP World Expo 2014 is a maritime exhibition held in alternate years with support from the government of India. MHI-MME co-exhibited at the JSMEA** booth, and Mr. Kuzu, Vice President of MHI-MME, attended during the show. A Japan-India Networking Reception was also organized by JSMEA at the Intercontinental Lalit Hotel Mumbai on February 10th. A number of top officials of ship-owners and shipyards joined this reception and Mr. Kuzu exchanged opinions with them about the Indian maritime markets.
