MHI-MME Conducts Seminar in Greece

Tokyo, Japan, June 28, 2016 - Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Marine Machinery & Engine Co., Ltd. (MHI-MME) held a Seminar in Athens, Greece, on June 16 to introduce our latest technologies of IMO Tier regulation and various major products. Approximately 50 people who attended the seminar, demonstrated the high interest in MHI-MME's eco-friendly and fuel-saving marine technologies.

In line with the above aims, the latest Seminar in Greece focused on the leading-edge trend of IMO Tier adaptive technologies, such as Low Pressure EGR & SCR system, UE engines, MET turbochargers and waste heat recovery system: UE engines, capped by the new long-stroke UEC50LSH-Eco model, demonstrated their ideal flexibility and slow steaming; MET をturbochargers were presented at the seminar, along with the variable turbine inlet (VTI) turbochargers and the hybrid turbochargers; Organic Rankine Cycle(ORC) was taken up as waste heat recovery system.

Many questions and answers were exchanged at the presentation, while valuable information, requests and suggestions were given to MHI-MME in a casual manner at the reception party.

MHI-MME continues to strive to develop new technologies, products and service menu to obtain further customer satisfaction.
