MET Turbocharger Seminar in Indonesia

Tokyo, Japan, November 29, 2016 - Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Marine Machinery & Engine Co., Ltd. held two MET Turbocharger Seminars, one in Jakarta on November 15 and one in Surabaya on November 17, to allow customers in Indonesia to attain a better understanding of the appropriate maintenance of the turbochargers. About 100 people in total attended the seminars. In the seminars, we presented the configuration of our MET Turbochargers, and explained the maintenance procedures and check items necessary to prevent trouble. Afterwards, there was a vigorous question-and-answer period.

We also introduced "PT TURBO TECH", our first authorized repair agent in Indonesia, as a new effort to assist our Indonesian customers. We believe that they will enable us to provide superior MET turbocharger-related services there.

In April of this year, we held a similar seminar in Vietnam. We would like to increase our ability to communicate with customers in the future, and to provide services to meet our customers's expectations.
