Radial type MET turbocharger achieved the Production Record of 15,000 sets

Tokyo, Japan, February 28, 2018 - Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Marine Machinery & Equipment Co., Ltd. (MHI-MME) has achieved 15,000 sets production record of radial type MET turbochargers.

The first radial MET-SR type was delivered in 1988 and production is increasing steadily. MHI-MME deliver over 1,000 sets of radial turbochargers annually in recent years.

The latest radial type turbochargers MET-SRC/SRII series are applicable to 4-stroke engine for marine and land use. MET-SRC/SRII series fit high efficiency and high pressure ratio application required by engine and have outstanding maintainability.

Succeeding to 15,000 sets delivery milestone, MHI-MME will continue to deliver turbochargers that satisfy customer needs in both performance and services.
