We are a comprehensive engineering company, with significant capabilities, in; plant construction, operation and maintenance and business management. We apply wide variety of advanced elemental technologies which focus on the environmental engineering.

We strive to protect the living environment and we contribute to a vibrant, beneficial and prosperous society.

As our society matures however, we must and we will ensure, that we maintain our pursuit of sustainable development alongside the achievement of economic and commercial growth. History

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd. (MJK)

1976 Jyuko Kankyo Service Co., Ltd was founded specialized for the maintenance and after sales service work on environmental equipment of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI)
1987 The name is changed to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd. (MJK)
2006 MHI has transferred the business of sludge treatment plant to MJK
2008 MHI has transferred the business of waste treatment plant to MJK

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Environmental and Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd. (MHIEC)

2009 New company is founded and named Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Environmental and Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd. (MHIEC)
by a merger of two companies of MJK and REC
2012 The petroleum and chemical plant operations are split up and transferred to Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Engineering Co., Ltd. under the group-wide business reorganization of MHI.
2016 The fuel gas desulfurization plant operations are split up and transferred to Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Environmental Solutions, Ltd. under the group-wide business reorganization of MHI.
