- The MIA Mover carries passengers between Miami International Airport and the airport's Intermodal Center. The intermodal center comprises of a consolidated rental car facility and a rapid transit hub including commuter rail, intercity rail, local bus and intercity bus services . Opening for service in 2011 it comprises of 12 train cars running in 2 or 4 car train formations with the flexibility to increase or decrease capacity as needed. The system runs above ground with a semi online maintenance facility providing for all vehicle inspections, servicing and overhauls.
