1. This privacy policy
Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine Europe B.V. (MTEE, the Company, we, our, or us) is committed to the protection of your personal data and takes very seriously its responsibilities under applicable data protection and privacy laws.
This means that in any case:
- We process your personal data in accordance with the purpose for which the data was provided, these purposes and types of personal data are described in this Privacy Policy;

2. The information we collect about you and how we use it
2.1 Prospects, customers, suppliers, service partners and other business contacts
We process your data to allow us to provide the requested products or services to you or vice versa. The relevant information is then used to, for instance, communicate with you, market goods and relevant services to you, to pay you and other administrative purposes.
For the purposes mentioned above the following personal data can be processed by MTEE:

- Function and related information such as department and job title
- Location
- Language
The lawful basis for processing your data is the performance of a contract, or in order to take steps prior to entering into a contract, such as a sales order, purchase request or other assignment. Additionally we can process your data in order to comply with legal obligations or because you have consented.
We will retain and process your information for as long as we require it for the purposes for which it was collected or as is otherwise required by applicable law. Once the information is no longer necessary to fulfill the purpose, we will securely delete or anonymize it.
2.2 Newsletter subscribers, stakeholders, lobby contacts and other interested parties
We process your data to informing you of our services by means of newsletters, emails and/or other means and/or to contact you for PR purposes.
We process your data to allow us to send you our newsletter, because you filled in the registration form for the newsletter and gave us consent.
For the purposes mentioned above the following personal data can be processed by MTEE:

- (Business) Email or other (business) contact information
The lawful basis for processing your data is your consent. We can also process your data because of the relevant and appropriate business relationship between you and MTEE, this could give us a legitimate interest for processing.
We will retain your data for the above mentioned processing during the period that you are registered. Whenever you have consented to your information being processed, you have the right to change your mind and withdraw your consent at any time. You can withdraw your consent by selecting the unsubscribe button if we have sent you an email.
2.3 Personal data of employees
If you are an employee of MTEE we process your data for in order to fulfill the employment contract. We, for instance, want to pay, give you access to our offices and IT systems that we use and keep personnel files.
For these purposes we process the following data:
- First and last name(s)
- Phone number
- Contact details
- Date of birth
- Gender
- Copy of ID
- BSN-number/social security number
- Bank details
- Marital status
- Nationality
- Date of employment
- Function, salary & job related information
- CV & education information
- Leave
- Attendance registration with the MTEE ID card
The lawful grounds for processing this data are:
- Compliance with (a) legal obligation(s)
- Fulfilling the performance of contract
- Legitimate interests pursued by MTEE
- Because you have given us consent (please note that you can always withdraw consent)
If something happens with you we would like to contact somebody, therefore we ask you to provide us with a contact in case of emergency.
We will retain your data for the above mentioned processing during the period that you are an employee. With respect to some data there are legal obligations to retain it longer, such as in the case of tax law. Whenever you have consented to your information being processed, you have the right to change your mind and withdraw your consent at any time. We do not use your data for automated decision-making, including profiling.
2.4 Camera surveillance
Security cameras are present on our premises. You are informed about this when entering the premises and the cameras are clearly visible. We use the camera images to:
- ensure the safety of our visitors and our staff
- for the security of our buildings
- to monitor our assets, and
- to record incidents.
The images can be provided to the police and judicial authorities in the event of incidents.
The basis of this processing is the legitimate interest of to secure our premises and to prevent/limit incidents.
2.5 Job candidates
We will process such personal data only for the purposes of the recruitment process. We will process and disclose your personal data where we consider it necessary to perform pre-contractual steps for purposes related to your job application or in order to pursue our legitimate interests.
Your application and personal data included therein will only be processed by the companies that are involved in the recruitment process and only to the extent strictly necessary for that process. Only recruiters (and relevant managers) will have access to your personal data.
We will generally keep your personal data for a maximum period of twelve months from the date you applied. We may retain your data for a longer period of time where necessary to comply with our legal obligations or where we have other legitimate interests or grounds for doing so (for example, to respond to ongoing requests or claims made by candidates).
