Foreign ITS leaders visited Futami Factory

On July 14, 19 foreign ITS leaders selected by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) took a visit to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Mechatronics System's Futami Factory.
Having ITS leaders from overseas organized by JICA is practiced every year for the aim of enhancing the capacity necessary to introduce ITS in each country. This year, we had ITS leaders who are engaged in transportation business from 12 countries such as Egypt, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
In Futami Factory there is the ITS Test Course where product performance test is conducted before delivering to customers. The ITS leaders visited to see these test products as well as had a productive discussion and exchanged each country's transportation issue or necessary action to spread ITS.
This was the fifth time to welcome ITS leaders to our facility, and we will keep engaged in this program to enhance ITS for better traffic environment around the world.
