Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Compressor Corporation (MCO) announces that its President & CEO, Yasuyuki Yamane will retire and that Senior Vice President Satoshi Hoshi will succeed him as President & CEO effective April 1, 2021.
Mr. Hoshi joined Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. (MHI) in 1986.
In October 2013, he served as General Manager, Business Strategy Division, Sales Strategy Headquarters, Energy and Environment Domain, MHI.
In October 2014, he served General Manager, Business Strategy Division, Sales Strategy Headquarters, Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, Ltd. (MHPS).
In June 2020, he became Senior Vice President, MCO.
He has a lot of experience and a wide range of knowledge.
President & CEO Yamane expressed his expectations toward his successor as follows, “Under the strong leadership of Mr. Hoshi backed by his wide experience at home and abroad and vast product knowledge, I look forward to further growth of MCO.”
President & CEO Yamane is scheduled to retire at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders scheduled to be held in June 2021.
