【MCOSA】MCO Saudi Arabia Limited Announces Change in Leadership

MCO Saudi Arabia Limited (“MCOSA”) announces the appointment of Koji Shimizu as its Managing Director effective July 1, 2022. He succeeds Tatsuhiko Fujimoto who returned to his post in Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Compressor Corporation (“MCO”) in Hiroshima, Japan.

New leader Mr. Shimizu started his career with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. in 1993 in Turbine Designing Section, Power Systems & Turbomachinery Engineering Department.
He previously served as Deputy General Manager of the Customer Service Division in MCO, where he devoted himself to assisting customers in reaching solutions in the after-sales business.

In assuming office, Mr. Shimizu commented as follows.

“After-sales business is one of the key initiatives that the MCO Group takes to generate profits and keep the business running. Among other areas, the EMEA region where MCOSA provides its service plays a pivotal role at the cutting edge of energy transition.
Through attentive listening to customers and with the support of Energy Transition & Power Headquarters (former Mitsubishi Power), MCOSA will further work toward becoming a service provider that satisfies the needs of our valued customers.”

Mr. Shimizu will perform his duties in MCOSA Head Office located in Al Khobar.
