Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd., Mihara Machinery Works was established in 1943 as a dedicated plant for steam trains and air braking systems for railway vehicles, and has been developing our production activities based in three (3) plants ITOZAKI, KOHAMA, and WADAOKI.
With our extensive experience in this field and by taking advantage of our project management system and engineering techniques, we have been able to deliver transportation systems, printing presses, and paper converting machines both at home and abroad.
We also have gained a reputation for high reliability by manufacturing high quality products including LRV (light rail vehicle) with a 100 percent super-low floor, APM (automated people mover), braking systems for Shinkansen trains, and sheet-fed offset presses.
