MHI Selected as One of the World's Most Sustainable Corporations

MHI was included on the 2014 "Global 100" list in recognition especially of its outstanding quartile performance ratings compared to its industry peers with respect to greenhouse gas (GHG) productivity, waste productivity, employee turnover and innovation capacity.

Since 2005, Corporate Knights has announced its Global 100 rankings once yearly to coincide with the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. It compiles its rankings based on independent analysis of the sustainability of global corporations in aspects including the environment, social responsibility and governance. This year, Corporate Knights conducted its performance analysis on a target group of approximately 4,000 enterprises.

Corporate Knights is a Canadian independent media and investment research company, founded in 2002, based in Toronto. Its publications include the world's largest-circulating magazine on sustainable business, as well as research reports on the environment, education, responsible investment, etc. The company also compiles ratings and rankings of environmentally responsible corporations and good corporate citizens, the best-known being its annual Global 100 list.
