Members of Shiki Theatre Company's "Kokoro no Gekijo" Paid a Visit to the Shinagawa Head Office Building

On June 24 troupe members who are currently appearing in "Gamba's Great Adventures," one of this year's "Kokoro no Gekijo" performances, paid a visit to the Shinagawa Head Office Building. "Gamba's Great Adventures" is a musical based on a novel written by Atsuo Saito. The way Gamba and his fellow adventurers unflinchingly confront their fate provides children an easily understood lesson in the courage and beauty of living life with a positive attitude. The visit by the troupe members offered us a rare opportunity to meet with the actors we normally encounter only on stage, and to hear their passionate sentiments toward their troupe and toward the musicals they perform - as well as hear some of their "inside" stories of what goes on behind the scenes.

During their visit, the actors presented us a large poster panel with their signed autographs. The panel is now on display in the M's Square showroom on the 2nd floor of the Shinagawa Head Office Building, so please stop by to see it when you are in the vicinity.
