Bulletin Board Notice re MHI's Support Stance for Machine Tool Users
Affected by the Flooding in Thailand

MHI wishes to extend its sincere sympathies to everyone who has in any way suffered as a result of the current flooding in Thailand. We will take every step possible to provide support to users of our machine tools, in order to enable resumption of production processes as quickly as possible.

We have already established an emergency response unit, overseen by the director of MHI machine tool operations, that is now working closely with both our domestic service bases and our local service base in Thailand – Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (Thailand) Ltd. (MHIT). In addition to collecting detailed information on water damage and other operational conditions at customer sites, equipment and staff are being dispatched to assist in restoring production operations, and every measure is being made to support efforts to prevent any further water damage.
    • All users of MHI machine tools are to be contacted directly by telephone in order to confirm what damages have been sustained. We will then swiftly make the appropriate response in line with the customer's needs.
