At 6:58:14 a.m., July 20, 2020, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) launched the H-IIA Launch Vehicle No. 42(H-IIA F42) which carries aboard the Emirates Mars Mission's (EMM) HOPE spacecraft developed by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) in the United Arab Emirates, from the JAXA Tanegashima Space Center.
H-IIA F42 flight proceeded nominally. Approximately 56 minutes 57 seconds after launch, as planned, the payload separated from the launch vehicle.
