MRJ Gains Flight Approval

Nagoya, October 29, 2015 - Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) announced today that Mitsubishi Aircraft has gained flight approval from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism for the MRJ (Mitsubishi Regional Jet), their next-generation regional jet.

Moving forward, high-speed taxiing tests and evaluations will be performed in preparation for the first flight of the first flight test aircraft of the MRJ, which is scheduled to take place during the week of November 9.
