Notice Concerning Completion of Transaction for Machine Tool Business

Tokyo, August 3, 2021 – Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd., announced that the transfer procedures have been completed except for some overseas subsidiaries as of August 2, concerning the press release made on February 5, the Company had agreed to transfer all of its machine tool business to Nidec Corporation.
The transfer of overseas subsidiaries specializing in machine tool business (China and India), for which the procedure has not yet been completed, is targeted to be completed in August 2021.
