Notice of Change in Corporate Name of Australian Subsidiary

Tokyo, April 1, 2022 – Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) is changing the corporate name of MHI Australia Pty. Ltd., its local subsidiary headquartered in Sydney, Australia, to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Australia, Pty. Ltd. (MHI-AUS), effective today. MHI-AUS is a wholly owned subsidiary of MHI established in 2016. President Shigeru Nakabayashi will continue in his current position.

Japan and Australia have developed a special strategic partnership in recent years, and expect to further strengthen cooperation in the energy sector and other business fields. Going forward, as MHI’s main office for business development in the Oceania region, MHI-AUS will support further overseas business expansion.
