GTCC (Gas Turbine Combined Cycle Power Plants)

Gas Turbine Combined Cycle (GTCC) power plants utilize fossil fuels to deliver the cleanest and most efficient power generation.
In addition to power generation with a gas turbine, the system also combines a steam turbine to create power through the use of waste heat to ensure excellent power generation efficiency. MHI Group’s state-of-the-art J-series gas turbines enable plants to achieve world’s highest power generation efficiency of 64% or more, which is 20% higher than conventional coal-fired thermal power generation systems. In addition, this enables CO2 emissions to be reduced by approximately 50%.
