MHI's temperature sensors were developed for Japanese space program, such as H-2 launch vehicle, HTV and satellites with OKAZAKI Manufacturing Company under contract with JAXA.
They have been playing important roles in Japanese space programs since 1990. These sensors are also listed in EPPL (European Peferrd Parts List).Its sensing element consists of platinum fine coiled wire. In particular purity of platinum is very high. It gives high stability and sensitivity to these sensors. More detailed information, see JAXA-QTS-2180.
