History
S-Series Connected Deck Cranes are equipped with a newly developed wireless data transfer system that transmits logging data to the bridge of the main ship.
The operational status, hydraulic pressure, and speed of all cranes can be centrally managed from the PC on the bridge, providing effective support for maintenance control. These features will further improve the stability of your operation.
S-Series Features
Equipped with Data Logging Function : Data Logging Standard "DLS"/ Data Logging Advanced "DLA"
The S-Series Deck Crane is equipped with a programmable logic controller (PLC) as a standard feature, which enables automatic recording of operation data, including handle operations, operation modes, limit actuation status, etc. to a general-purpose memory card (SD card). Furthermore, the data logging advance (DLA) option enables the recording of hydraulic pressure and operation speed, as well as periodic performance checks using self-diagnosis mode. DLA contributes to reduce life-cycle costs by enabling equipment condition monitoring and quick troubleshooting.
In addition, S-Series Connected automatically sends and records logging data on a PC on the bridge of the main ship, allowing the bridge to centrally manage the status of all cranes.
Smart Up-Grade : Ability to customize with a variety of upgrades
We offer a variety of upgrades, including a high durability menu to manage strict cargo handling requirements, a high functionality menu to support maintenance, and a modification menu for ships in service. We help to maximize the customers' profits by reducing non-operation risk and further streamlining maintenance by applying customizations optimally suited to the customer's needs.

Overseas Licensee
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries licensed its deck crane technology to a Chinese company in 2008. The company launched supplying high-quality deck cranes to shipbuilding yards in China from 2009 under MHI's technical support. After that, MHI licensed its deck machinery and hose handling crane technology to expand its lineups. In addition, we began operating a new plant in 2020 to increase production capacity. With our state-of-the-art production facilities and quality control system, we are able to supply cranes of even higher quality and performance.
