Founded on this policy, the entire company strives to realize safe and comfortable workplaces through the operation of this occupational health and safety management system.

Our group is committed to the MHI Group Policy of Safety and Health consisting of the Basic Policy, laid down by the HR Director in charge of occupational safety and health, that "safety is the number one priority, and that we will do everything in our power to protect lives," and six other codes of conduct which state that "Each and every one of us across the MHI Group must join forces as one united team to maintain and heighten our health and safety standards," "We hold health and safety as a top priority at each of the MHI Group companies by establishing procedures, defining roles and responsibilities, and engaging in health and safety initiatives" and "Our physical and mental wellbeing is fundamental to everything we do at the MHI Group. We must continue to elevate and embrace a culture of health and safety across our workplace," among others. Under this policy, we promote the establishment of safe and comfortable workplaces with our employees, as well as cooperating companies with whom we engage in business activities.
