ACTIVITIES IN CREATING FORESTS FOR THE FUTURE

The company engages in conservation activities to create forests of the future, including the planting of trees, and building of footpaths and clearings. Take a look at some of the activities below.

Tree Planting Activities

An initiative named "Beaver's Forest, Kihoku" has been launched in Kihoku Town of Mie Prefecture. The first event was attended by around 150 people centered on employees and their families, as well as employees from group and cooperating companies. The participants struggled to climb slopes with hoes and hammers to dig holes 30 cm in depth under the supervision of Forestry Cooperative workers. They then planted saplings with name plates prepared at home with the names of family members and their future dreams written on them.
